By heat sealing the end of each hair, as it is cut, the hair's natural moisture content is maintained. This sealing stops the dreaded split-ends and because of the higher moisture content the hair stays in better condition.
The pictures below show the difference between heated scissor cutting and cold cutting. The pictures show hair magnified 500 times. The "before" picture shows you hair that has been cut using cold scissors. The "after" picture shows hair cut with the THERA-cut heated scissors. The difference is obvious and the benefits immediate.
